Boating Activities

Watch marine and bird life typical of the region as you kayak on the St. Lawrence River Estuary with Aventures Archipel. At sunset, the experience is memorable! NEW: "Anse-aux-Bouleaux" is a 5-hour kayak excursion, 1 hour of which is set aside for discovering the shorline of Parc national du Bic. Reservations at 1 800 665-6527.

Personal boats are allowed in the following areas:

Baie du Ha! Ha!
Havre-du-Bic (boat launching ramp for small watercraft)

Boats are prohibited in most of the Anse à l'Orignal marine preservation zone.

Camping

Our 207 semi-serviced or serviced campsites are scattered among three sectors. If you want to stay off the beaten track, primitive campsites that cannot be reached by a vehicle are available in the Coulée sector.

Winter campsites are available in the Porc-Épic sector. A minimum of 2 adults per sector is required for camper safety.

For a combination of comfort and nature, we offer 16 Huttopia tents on the Rioux campground set in a peaceful area near a rapidly growing forest stand.

Seven tent-trailers are available in the Rivière-du-Sud-Ouest sector. They are located near a stream and the Discovery and Visitors Centre.

Yurt

Our 8 yurts are located in the Île-aux-Amours sector, between 100 and 300 metres from the parking lot and close to a wide variety of outdoor and discovery activities. In the winter, the distance between the yurts and the parking lot is 900 m.

Hut

The Harfang hut is 900 metres from the Rivière-du-Sud-Ouest Visitors Centre in the centre of the campground. It sleeps a maximum of 8 people. This modern hut is divided into 4 bedroom/dormitories.

Igloo

The igloos are in the Porc-Épic sector, 1.2 km from the Rivière-du-Sud-Ouest Visitors Centre. Each igloo sleeps 2 to 4 people. A minimum of 2 adults per sector is required for camper safety.
