Random Draw for Fishing and Vacationing, Summer 2010

Québec - Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq) has just held the random draw for Fishing and Vacationing 2010.

The purpose of this operation, which is monitored by an external auditor, is to offer all of the participants a fair chance of obtaining a stay on a date convenient to them. It also prevents congestion when the reservation period opens.

This year, 89% of random draw registrations were done on the Internet. Online registrants were also eligible to win a fishing trip to Portes-de-l'Enfer Lodge in Réserve faunique des Laurentides. The lucky winner of this dream trip was Raphaël Lapierre from Lac-Beauport.

All participants who registered by October 23, regardless of registration method, were automatically entered in a draw for 4 Sépaq gift certificates. Bruno Benoît from La Prairie won a $250 gift certificate, Alain Martel from Donnacona won $150, and Guy Renaud from the city of Québec and Jocelyn Boivin from Beaupré each won $100.

Sépaq's Sales and Reservations agents will start calling random draw winners on November 24. As in past years, you can follow the call list rankings on Sépaq's Web site (www.sepaq.com). The list will be updated in real time, thus giving winners a precise idea of when they will be called so that they can prepare in advance.

Starting on February 5, 2010 at 8:30 a.m., all of this year's random draw participants will have three days of reservation priority. The only way to take advantage of this opportunity is to call Sépaq's Sales and Reservations Office.

Don't forget that although participation in the random draw was high, when reservations open to the general public on February 8, 2010, there will still be some excellent fishing and vacationing stays available.

The Sépaq Experience through a Dynamic New Design!

Québec City - Société des établissements de plein air du Québec launched its new Web site on October 16, 2009. Sépaq hopes that visitors will enjoy this more dynamic and user-friendly design, and invites the public to visit the new site at the same address (www.sepaq.com).

Sépaq's new Web site is a real outdoor experience in itself! With even more pictures, new videos and more interactivity, the site also has a brand new feature: thematic navigation. Besides being able to consult an information page for each establishment, a user interested in a specific activity, type of accommodation or package can explore the information page for each of them to find more information, tips, photos or videos, location maps and an opportunity to reserve on line or visit the establishments.

The online reservations system has also been redesigned. This more user-friendly version facilitates the search for products and allows users to create a profile, an excellent way to accelerate future transactions and give them the option of receiving promotional offers based on their interests.

The new site better meets industry standards and user needs. An online tutorial is available to help them rediscover the site and the reservation system. The new Web site was created by Sépaq's Electronic Affairs team, headed by Patrick Berthiaume.
