Fishing

Some thirty lakes are spread out over five accommodation sectors: Lac Perdrix, Lac-Rimouski, Lac Castor, L'érablière, Kedgwick. Moreover, some ten lakes have been reserved for day fishing.

Period: From May 23 to September 1, 2008

New in 2008 : It is now possible to reserve your day fishing activity 4 months in advance. For example, if you want to fish on June 24, you should reserve on February 24. Online reservations and phone reservations start at 8:30 AM (1 800 665-6527). Hunting

Moose Hunting

Density of the moose population: 20/10 km².

The survey carried out in 2001 made it possible to observe 1,072 animals on a territory covering 729 km².

Quota-based moose hunting helps ensure sound management of this wildlife resource. The moose herd that lives on the territory of Réserve faunique de Rimouski doubled between the 1995 and 2001 surveys.

White-Tailed Deer Hunting

Period: From November 6 to November 16, 2008

Small-Game Hunting
It is possible to harvest Spruce Grouse, Ruffed Grouse and snowshoe hare.

Outdoor Activities

Canoe-Camping

Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and mushrooms are particularly appreciated.
