Cabins

Each cabin is located on the edge of a lake or river. Cabins 1 to 6, 14 and 15 of the Chigoubiche sector, and Dufferin cabin have propane gas facilities (lighting, water heater, stove and fridge), are equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve meals, and have a shower and toilets.

The other cabins, with a capacity of two people, have an icebox outside, do not have showers but are equipped with propane lighting systems, camp stoves and heaters. Washroom facilities are located nearby.

As Sépaq cannot guarantee the quality of the water, it is preferable to stock up on drinking water.

Réserve faunique Ashuapmushuan has 3 campgrounds. They are spread around in the reserve from south to north to allow you to camp as close as possible to your favourite activity – fishing for speckled trout, walleye, pike, etc.

The campgrounds offer semi-serviced or primitive sites.

Lac-du-Milieu Campground
Located at km 38, just 5 km from the South Registration Centre, the Lac-du-Milieu Campground has about ten semi-serviced campsites. This is a great area for speckled trout fishing. There are washroom facilities nearby.

Lac-Chigoubiche Campground
Located at km 113 in Réserve faunique Ashuapmushuan, this campground is directly in the centre of the reserve, an excellent sector for walleye, pike and lake trout fishing. This campground has some thirty semi-serviced sites with washroom facilities nearby.

Lac-Charron Campground
Located at km 178, this primitive campground in the northern sector of the reserve is a great place to fish for walleye and pike. Pit toilet only.
