NEARBY ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES
The Réserve faunique de Papineau-Labelle is only 20 minutes by car from the Centre touristique du Lac-Simon. During the summer, anglers and hikers are truly privileged.
The Parc national de Plaisance, a haven for ducks, herons, osprey and dozens of other species, is located only 45 minutes by car from the tourist station.
In the village of Duhamel (2 kilometres from the campground on the bicycle trail), you'll find restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores and a service station.
Approximately one hour from the Resort, you'll find three horseback riding centres, which offer various guided tours, ranging from short outings, a few hours long, to three-day excursions.
In the winter, cabin occupants may rent snowmobiles about 45 minutes from the Resort, which gives access to the Trans-Québec trail. |
