Year-round Vacation Destination
Located in the Vallée de la Petite Nation, in the heart of the Outaouais, Centre touristique du Lac-Simon is a vast, wooded domain that covers 4 square kilometres and stretches along the sandy banks of lac Simon. This four-season holiday resort offers you over 400 campsites in addition to cabins or mini-cabins, along with a remarkable range of outdoor activities, such as swimming, canoeing, mini-golf, volleyball, fishing, cross country skiing, tubing, ice fishing, etc. The Resort's two-kilometre beach borders the
remarkably clear waters of lac Simon and is the centre's undisputed natural attraction in the summer. Besides the beach and water sports, fishing is another pleasure you can experience here, since lac Simon is home to landlocked salmon and lake trout, definite proof that this 2,849-hectare body of water, the second largest in the Ottawa Valley, is the picture of health.
