CABIN ACCOMMODATIONS

The cabins
For vacations any time of year that combine comfort and fresh air, treat yourself to a stay in one of Centre touristique du Lac-Simon cabins. Nestled in the shade of a cedar and deciduous tree forest, these 17 cabins are accessible by a private road, ensuring peace and privacy. Each cabin sleeps five people in two bedrooms and is equipped with a slow combustion stove with removable screen. All you need to bring is bedding, since the kitchenette is stocked with all the necessary equipment (microwave ovens rather than regular ovens). The cabins are heated with electricity and include a shower and toilet. Cabins that sleep up to six people in three bedrooms are also available.

The "Mini-cabins"
An economic formula that will charm small families in search of nature! Designed for two adults and two children, the four "mini-cabins" were built on a platform, adorned with an observation deck that overlooks lac Simon and the beach. Each cottage (3.6m by 4.3 m or 12 ft by 14 ft) includes a kitchen module (stove, fridge and sink), shower and toilet and is electrically heated. Bring your own bedding and everything you need for cooking (dishes, utensils, pots and pans). A propane gas barbecue is provided. The "mini-cabins" are available for vacationing until mid-October.

Animals are not allowed in the cabins or mini-cabins.

CAMPING

Renowned for its beach and its outdoor activities, the campground has 400 sites scattered throughout a plantation of white pines and deciduous woods. Of these, 83 serviced sites are available for seasonal rental. Campers have a choice among:

79 sites equipped with three services (water, electricity and sewage hook-up);

141 sites equipped with two services (water and electricity);

97 sites with no services.

Campers also have washroom facilities, a community centre (picnic tables), a laundromat, a snack bar with terrace on the beach as well as an RV dump station.
