OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES - WINTER
The Resort rents cabins in the winter, too. With so many winter activities at your doorstep, your winter getaway will be delightful. |
 |
Observation of the Arizona Whitetail Deer
During the cold season, one to two thousand Arizona whitetail deer visit the lac Simon area, offering residents and vacationers a fascinating spectacle. The occupants of the Resort's cabins are front-row-centre for this natural show that never fails to entertain.
Snowmobiling
Snowmobile trail number 43 of the Trans-Québec network crosses a part of the Resort.
Vacationers can rent snowmobiles approximately 45 minutes from the Resort and take long excursions in the undulating landscapes of the Vallée de la Petite Nation.
Tubing
Rediscover the pleasures of childhood, sliding down the slopes at top speed! Inner tubes are furnished free of charge to cabin residents.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing and snow hiking enthusiasts can take advantage of five kilometres of marked trails
Skating Rink
There is a small skating rink on Lac de la Ferme, near a log shelter.
Ice Fishing
Lac de la Ferme is one of the rare places where speckled trout can be fished in the winter. Between fishing sessions, you can go and warm up in a log cabin shelter. Who knows? Maybe there will be trout for supper tonight! (Québec fishing licence obligatory).
Cross Country Skiing
Approximately ten kilometres of trails are distributed among the six circuits surrounding the cabins. These trails are mechanically groomed and accessible to beginners.
