Plaisance: the Park's very name conjures up the peacefulness of its landscape, with its many bays, islands, peninsulas as well as the multicolored tapestry of its aquatic grassbeds. In spring, Plaisance offers a breathtaking spectacle of thousand of Canada geese; in summer, it is a paradise for ducks, herons, ospreys and dozens of other species. Visitors will adore the exquisite breeze of Rivière des Outaouais as it ripples through the grasses of Petite Presqu'île, not far from the campground.
