Access and Operating Period

  • The Bouteille Registration Centre is 26 km east of Saint-Zénon via Route 131.
  • The Pins-Rouges Registration Centre is 24 km north of Saint-Alexis-des-Monts via Route 349.
  • The Catherine Registration Centre is 18 km north of Mandeville via Route 347 and Route 348.

Note: For campers with a tent-trailer, trailer, or recreational vehicle in Saint-Bernard campground, it is strongly recommended that you enter via the Pins-Rouges Registration Centre. Find out about the itinerary at our registration centres.

The road network within the reserve is entirely made up of gravel forest roads.

Opening hours vary on a seasonal basis.

  • Arrival and departure hours for cabin accommodations:
    • Arrival: 5 p.m.
    • Departure: 1:30 p.m.

Opening hours of Pins-Rouges Registration Centre:

  • May 15 to September 12, 2024
    • Satuday to Wednesday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Thursday and Friday, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Opening hours of Bouteille and Catherine Registration Centre:

  • May 15 to September 12, 2024
    • every day, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Note: During fall, the registration centres are in operation according to a variable schedule. Please contact the staff of the wildlife reserve for more details.

How to use MicroSD files for Garmin GPS

Please follow these steps to copy the GPS file on your MicroSD card:

•  Download the GPS file.
•  Save the file on your workstation.
•  Decompress the*.zip file.
•  Insert the MicroSD card into your computer, perhaps with the help of an adapter.
•  Copy the Garmin folder on your MicroSD card.
•  Withdraw the MicroSD card from your computer.
•  Insert the MicroSD card into your Garmin GPS.

Important: Please do not change the name of the directory or of the file; otherwise your GPS will be unable to read the document. The MicroSD card can hold only one GPS file. Use is reserved for Garmin GPS only.
