Moose hunting
The Rivière-Madeleine sector includes a forested territory that is teeming with game. An aerial survey conducted in the winter of 2022 revealed a moose density of nearly 15 moose/10 km2. Hunters in this sector will stay in a large cabin located very close to the sea.
The hunting packages will be allocated through a random draw.
Developing an exceptional territory
Sépaq's management of the Seigneurie de la Rivière-de-la-Madeleine will make it possible to develop this exceptional territory according to principles that promote democratization and equity of access for the community, the tourist clientele, and the generations to come.
The offer of activities and services will be improved over the next few years, all in keeping with the mission of conservation, development, use of wildlife, and ancillary recreational tourism activities.
