Reservation terms and conditions

Bedroom capacity

Maximum room capacity varies from 2 to 4 people. Children 17 and under are lodged free of charge if the child shares the same room as the parents up to the maximum authorized capacity per room (fees apply when booking a package). Additional fees apply when booking a package with food and acrivities.

Payment and current rates

Modifying a Reservation

There are no modification fees if the change is made 48 hours or more before the beginning of the stay by phoning the lodge or with our counselors at the Sales and reservations office at 1 800 665-6527.

Cancelling a Reservation

For any cancellation of a reservation, please contact Sépaq's Sales and Reservations Office by phone at 1 800 665-6527.

The first night will be charged if the reservation is cancelled or in case of no-shows.

Arrival and Departure

Arrival: Starting at 4 p.m.
Departure: noon at the latest

Early Departure Policy

No refunds except for the park entry fee for Parc national de la Gaspésie and Gîte du Mont-Albert.

Late departure policy

Fees apply for late departures. Please ask for information at the hotel.

Room Assignment

Rooms are assigned on the site upon arrival at the hotel’s reception office.

Accessibility for the Mobility Impaired

The hotel and the Caribou Lodge are accessible for the mobility impaired.

Pets

Please note that under certain conditions, your dog could be allowed in some establishments. However, no other domestic animals are allowed. Please consult our Domestic animals section for details.

Entry Fees in the National Parks

National parks customers must pay the applicable daily entry fee or hold an Annual Québec National Parks Card.

Smoke-Free Environment

Tobacco and cannabis regulation acts, as well as Sépaq’s policies prohibit in particular all persons from smoking inside rooms, accomodation units (cabins, rustic shelters, yurt, ready-to-camp, etc.), public areas (meeting rooms, restaurant, bar, reception area, etc.). Out of respect for the air quality, a charge of $150 will be charged for all offenders who smoke in these areas.

Your Safety; your responsibility

Outdoor activities can involve certain risks, so always be sure to have the skills and abilities required for the activity you choose. Your abilities must not be impaired by alcohol, a drug or medication. It is very important to find out about the risks involved in the activity, to know and respect your own limits and to use appropriate equipment. We suggest that you visit our section Security.

Cleanliness and Damage to Equipment

Customers must always leave any place they stay and any equipment they use clean and in good condition.

Customers will be billed for any damage to Sépaq equipment. Cabins, rustic shelters and yurts left untidy will be cleaned at the customer's expense.

Closures or prohibition of activities

In the interest of safety and prevention, Sépaq reserves the right to prohibit the practice of activities normally offered or traffic in an establishment or sector thereof, when it deems it necessary or if there are risks to the safety of persons. Only the cancelled activity can be refunded or compensated.

Access to information law

By virtue of the Access to Information Law, Sépaq personnel may not transmit any information about clientele (e.g. name, site number, etc.). However, a bulletin board located at the reception post will be available to customers who wish to leave messages.

Important Message

Anyone who breaks these rules may be expelled immediately without a refund.
