ÉCOL-O-PARC educational program
The ÉCOL-O-PARC program offers an innovative educational approach designed to bring high school students closer to their natural environment. By focusing on hands-on experimentation, observation, and active engagement, this program transforms young people into conservation advocates, capable of understanding, analyzing, and taking action on environmental issues.
About the program
Rooted in the realities of Québec and aligned with the competencies of the Québec school curriculum (PFEQ), ÉCOL-O-PARC promotes hands-on, engaging, and sustainable learning.
Educating today’s youth means protecting the territories of tomorrow.
Students at the heart of the action
ÉCOL-O-PARC aims to develop a generation of young people capable of understanding the ecosystems around them, taking a critical look at environmental issues, and actively participating in protecting the territory.
The ÉCOL-O-PARC program integrates easily into the school curriculum thanks to its flexible structure:
- Pedagogical approach
- Educational tools
Educational tools
Prepare your group for an enriching nature experience using the educational tools from the ÉCOL-O-PARC program. These resources include theoretical presentations and quizzes that allow students to explore various topics before visiting the national park. Facilitation materials, activity protocols, and field tools are provided directly by the national park team when you participate in the program.
This first set of educational tools is designed for students in their first year of high school. The ÉCOL-O-PARC program will be expanded over the years to include content for other high school grade levels.
