School activities in nature
Learning while having fun is simply brilliant! In the company of an enthusiastic facilitator, explore our surrounding natural world and take part in activities that will get your students moving and thinking.
Virtual school activities
Break down boundaries! Some of our activities are offered virtually, wherever you are in Québec. This is your chance to offer your students their first connection to nature. In addition to introducing them to a fascinating universe, our facilitators will be able to interact with your students to answer their thousand and one questions!
Bring nature and our team of enthusiasts right into your classroom! We offer a combination of fun, interactive, and educational activities to help your students discover the secrets of the living world. These workshops are also a perfect complement to the Québec school curriculum.
Sépaq's commitment is to connect more and more young people to nature. In order to facilitate access to our territories and services, a number of financial assistance measures are offered.
Wildlife workshops: On the trail of wildlife
The wildlife workshops entitled Sur les traces de la faune / On the trail of wildlife are an initiative of the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs and aim to allow young people in senior secondary school, general adult education or vocational education, to discover Québec's wildlife and its habitats free of charge through activities led by Sépaq. An application must be submitted to the Fonds d'action québécois pour le développement durable.
Destination Nature offers a free transportation service to allow groups of young people to travel to Québec’s natural environments to enjoy a stimulating experience and create a link with nature.
Culture at school
Sixteen national parks are on the list of scientific culture organizations (in French only) of the Culture in the Schools program, scientific culture component. Elementary and secondary schools could receive financial assistance to cover some of the costs of classroom activities or field trips.
As part of the “Let’s get moving!” initiative in elementary schools and the "Extracurricular activities in secondary schools" measure, Sépaq opens its doors to Québec schools to allow young people to connect with nature and stay active.
The next generation of skiers is given the red carpet treatment on Sépaq's cross-country ski trails. In collaboration with the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie and La Petite Expé (little expedition), Sépaq offers the opportunity to introduce your school groups to this wonderful sport, all in the most beautiful nature of Québec!
