Seasonal closure of the Acropole-des-Draveurs trail

Please note that the Acropole-des-Draveurs trail in Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie is currently closed. This trail will normally be accessible again between the second Friday of June and the Monday of Thanksgiving weekend (subject to change depending on trail conditions). Several other trails are accessible year-round. Thank you for your understanding.

Modification of the catch and keep limit (brook trout) and mandatory catch-and-release (arctic char)

Please note that the Ministère de l'Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs du Québec (MELCCFP) is reducing the catch and keep limit from 15 to 10 brook trout for fishing activities. This measure applies as of the 2024 season and is intended to protect brook trout populations.

In addition to the MELCCFP's conservation efforts, a ban on arctic char fishing (mandatory catch-and-release) will also be in effect in the Grands-Jardins and Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie national parks.
