Protected area. Enriching nature experiences.

Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno is just a few kilometres from the Montréal metropolitan area. Five lakes, an orchard, a historic mill and dozens of kilometres of trails make this park a true island of nature in an urban environment. Hundreds of species of flowers, trees and plants fill the area. Every breath you take brings a new perfume and every breeze carries this blend of very special scents only found in the forest. Some 200 bird species and about 40 mammal species share the territory. Encounters you can expect, summer and winter alike.

Park access authorization

There is a limit to the number of visitors that can enter a national park on any given day. It is therefore strongly recommended that you purchase your right of access online before a visit or that you acquire an annual pass. This guarantees you access to the park, will ensure a smoother arrival at the site and avoid unnecessary travel when the maximum capacity is reached. It can be purchased up to 30 days before a visit. You may be denied access to a sector, a trail, or an activity if a parking lot is full or if the maximum capacity has been reached.

Protection of natural environments: White-tailed deer population control

The overabundance of white-tailed deer in Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno and Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville is threatening the biodiversity of these natural jewels located close to urban areas. Population control operations can take place to protect and conserve the ecosystems of these territories for Québec residents and future generations. Details and frequently asked questions
