The outdoor part of the site is accessible all year round. Parking fees apply. Please note that Parc de la Chute-Montmorency is not a Québec national park. Please note that new pricing terms and conditions will come into effect at Parc de la Chute-Montmorency on September 3, 2019.
Residents of the Communauté métropolitaine de Québec will be able to access the site free of charge by presenting proof of residence.
Quebecers from outside the Communauté métropolitaine de Québec (CMQ) will benefit from a preferential access rate of $4 per person, in addition to free access for children aged 17 and under. Customers from outside Quebec, for their part, will be able to access the site for a fee of $8.
Parking fees will be reduced by 68% from their current rate and will be offered for $4 for all visitors, regardless of their origin (CMQ, outside CMQ, and outside Quebec). Please note that parking pricing must meet a twofold objective, namely to help reduce traffic congestion on neighbouring streets while encouraging the use of public transit or an active mode of travel.
Dogs are allowed in Parc de la Chute-Montmorency, under certain conditions. Guide dogs and service dogs are allowed everywhere.
Don’t leave this historic site without a souvenir! The Manoir Montmorency and Station shops offer a wide choice of clothing and other items designed in Québec.
A great way to immerse yourself in the beauty of Parc de la Chute-Montmorency before actually traveling there, this virtual visit allows you to explore the site, crisscross the trails, take the cable car, and even go inside the Manoir and check out the reception halls.

Here are a few important do’s and don’ts:
- All waste must be disposed of in the appropriate places.
- Under certain conditions, your dog could be allowed in some establishments. However, no other domestic animals are allowed. Please consult our Domestic animals section.
- In order to avoid affecting the visitors’ experience and wildlife, Sépaq prohibits the use of drones for recreational purposes at the establishments that it manages. Find out more

Québec City is only 10 minutes by car from Parc de la Chute-Montmorency. Year-round, it's a real must-see. Let yourself be charmed by its little streets and historic buildings. Enjoy its many cultural activities and different restaurants. A little bit of Europe in North America!
The bridge to Orléans Island This link will open in a new window. is just across from Montmorency Falls. It's an invitation to go there! The island is truly a garden for Québec City with its diversity of farm landscapes. It also has well preserved heritage and historic sites, not to mention delicious local produce.
East of the park is Côte-de-Beaupré -a shoreline region with a wide range of tourism attractions for lovers of culture, heritage, adventure, and nature. Drive along Route de la Nouvelle-France, visit museums and interpretation centres, and admire the rolling countryside. And for hikers, whatever their level of ability, 200 km of trails cut through this area.

Charlevoix Transit Train
Parc de la Chute-Montmorency is happy to welcome the Charlevoix Transit Train to its station. This rail link takes passengers through a 85 kilometres of panoramic landscapes between Québec City and Baie-Saint-Paul. Watch it head out of the station several times a week, or if you’re a passenger, take advantage of the occasion to enjoy the panoramic circuit including the cable car ride, the suspension bridge and the panoramic stairs.
