Trails are marked but not mechanically maintained. Most trails are suitable for backcountry skiing with sealskins (high level of difficulty) or snowshoeing. Certain segments are not recommended for backcountry skiing and better suited for snowshoeing (tight turns, steep slopes, etc.). The segment between Lac de la Chute hut and Camp des Méandres (Les Caps trail) is not recommended for backcountry skiing.
