Using digital maps in Sépaq territories: what you need to know
The company that now manages the Avenza Maps mobile app has announced that it will no longer release new maps and that the map library will no longer be updated.
However, the Sépaq maps currently available on Avenza Maps – including those for big-game and small-game hunting – remain up to date and can still be downloaded and used.
Transition to the Québec-based NordQuest app
Moving forward, Sépaq will begin its transition to the Québec-based app NordQuest. The official maps are already available there. No paid subscription is required, but you’ll need to create an account. You’ll enjoy the same features and more.
You can download the app now from the App Store or Google Play.

How can I use NordQuest?
You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play and use it for free. A guide on how to use Sépaq maps in the NordQuest app will be available soon to assist app users.
For more information, visit the NordQuest website.
Can I import my own maps?
Yes. From the main menu in the NordQuest app, open the Map Library and select the “Upload a Custom Map” option.
