Notice of high traffic during fall weekends
To ensure the safety and smooth experience of your visit at Parc national du Mont-Mégantic, please take note of the measures in place to facilitate access and ensure the safety of all visitors.
Franceville sector
- When the Franceville sector parking lot is full, visitors will be redirected to the Observatory sector.
- For safety reasons, pedestrian traffic on the Franceville road leading to the reception area will be prohibited.
Observatory sector
- When parking lots P1 and P2 are full, roadside parking will be permitted for a distance of approximately 500 meters.
- When the park reaches its maximum capacity, we reserve the right to temporarily close the sector.
We recommend that you purchase your daily access online. These are valid for the entire park and not for a specific area.
