Supervised beach closure (Lac-Stukely sector)
Please note that due to poor water quality that is unsafe for swimming, the beach in the Lac-Stukely sector of Parc national du Mont-Orford is closed until further notice. However, the beach in the Lac-Fraser sector will be exceptionally supervised starting August 20, 2026, until the Lac-Stukely sector beach reopens.
Please also note that due to a shortage of lifeguards related to the return to school, the beach in the Lac-Stukely sector will remain closed from August 24 to 28, 2026.
Supervised swimming at the beaches in the Lac-Fraser and Lac-Stukely sectors will be closed for the season as of Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
