Bloodhound

© Sépaq

You can have recourse to a bloodhound, i.e. a dog trained to track wounded big game. Using a dog specialized in following the trail of game giving off a wound odor reduces the number of animals that are injured and lost in the forest and thus increases the success rate of hunters, who can find the animals more easily.

This is one of the free services at wildlife reserves for moose and deer hunting. However, if you want to bring your dog, please note that hunting dogs must be kept on a leash, in a cage outside the cabin, or in their master's vehicle except during hunting.
