Parc national du Mont-Orford

Parc national du Mont-Orford offers hiking trails of different levels to please all sporting types. A special mention must go to Escalier-du-Nord trail, which passes by Pic de la Roche-Fendue on its way to Pic de l’Ours. A 360-degree view of the region awaits you from atop this spectacular peak.

Moreover, don't miss the activities of La Flambée des Couleurs fall festival, every weekend from September 16 to October 8.

Parc national du Mont-Tremblant

Come and admire the colourful forest of Québec’s most venerable national park. La Roche trail of Parc national du Mont-Tremblant offers a magnificent panorama, and you can easily tack on La Coulée and La Corniche trails to extend your expedition. Is simple nature hiking too tame for you? Why not try the via ferrata and enjoy the colours from an entirely different angle? Perched on the rock wall, you’ll have an incomparable vantage point from which to contemplate the rapid transformation of autumn leaves.

Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier

Why not make a stop a mere half an hour from Québec City at the heart of an impressive territory that shows off its best colours during fall? Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier is an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts. With its lookouts over the Jacques-Cartier and Sautauriski valleys, perennially popular Les Loups trail offers a very colourful show!

From October 5 to 14, 2018, a new bus transportation service will be offered between certain hotels in Quebec City and the park. Details and pricing

Parc national du Mont-Mégantic

What could be better than a hiking outing in Parc national du Mont-Mégantic, particularly along the Mont-Saint-Joseph loop to reach the summit of colours? It's the perfect time of year to take in a breath of fresh air and enjoy an impressive view of the Eastern Townships. Hikers can also take part in a number of activities during Journées des Sommets (Summit Days) being held until October 9.

Duchesnay

With its hiking trails, its proximity to bike paths, and the wide range of activities it has to offer, Duchesnay is clearly the ideal place to celebrate fall with your family. Take a walk along Le Lac Jaune trail, also accessible to all-terrain strollers, or bike down Chemin de la Liseuse, following the Jacques Cartier River as you go. And moving further afield, you can contemplate Lac Saint-Joseph from on high as you explore one of our famous Arbraska Duchesnay circuits!

Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay

What do you get when you combine the phenomenal scenery of Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay and the incredible beauty of fall? A sum total that’s simply out of sight! More athletic hikers will be delighted by the many short trails (i.e. de la Statue trail) and by the longer trails for extended hikes (think Les Caps trail). And for the ultimate experience, why not head out on a via ferrata circuit and explore the towering walls of Baie Éternité?
