Ingredients
- 400 grams chopped moose meat
- 5 slices bacon
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green onion
- 4 mushrooms
- 1 small sweet potato
- 900 ml canned tomato sauce
- 400 ml canned black beans
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- ½ chilli pepper
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
- ½ teaspoon onion salt
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ tablespoon Mexican chili spice
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ cup strong cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Prparation:
- Cut the sweet potato into small cubes and cook it in a pot of boiling water for 10 minutes.
- Cook the bacon in a frying pan over medium heat for medium-rare cooking and then slice it thickly. Keep the bacon fat.
- Cook the chopped moose meat in the bacon fat.
- Cut all the vegetables into small cubes and fry them in olive oil.
- In a large pot, add the moose meat, bacon, vegetables, tomato sauce, black beans, parsley with all the spices, and grated cheese.
- Stir the chili vigorously and let it simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.
