Backcountry skiing

Bold explorers particularly appreciate backcountry skiing for it offers the possibility of contemplating a purer, wilder natural world. In the vast Sépaq realms, skiers venture into snow-covered, less-traveled areas, with slopes of low or medium height. Trails are marked, but not track-set or groomed, and their level of difficulty varies depending on snow conditions, with fresh abundant snow demanding greater effort from the intrepid skier.

Are you intrigued by this winter activity? Getting started requires very few special technical skills. The ski, which is wider than a regular cross-country ski, includes braking-support scales and metal squares for better traction on the ice. Backcountry skiing is a great alternative to snowshoeing.
