Bonjour Québec 2021 Edition

  • When will I be able to purchase the Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the Annual Québec National Parks Card?
    • The sale of the Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the Annual Québec National Parks Card will begin on June 1 at 9 a.m.
  • Is everyone who wants to get one guaranteed to get a Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the Annual Québec National Parks Card?
    • No, the number of Bonjour Québec 2021 editions of the Annual Québec National Parks Card available at 50% of the regular price is limited to some 140,000 copies. The number of cards available is determined by the $5 million invested by the ministère du Tourisme du Québec to cover half the cost of a card. Annual Québec National Parks Cards at the regular price will remain available if the Bonjour Québec 2021 editions of the Annual Québec National Parks Card are sold out.
  • Will there be a time limit to complete the transaction?
    • Yes, eight minutes will be set aside for a transaction. The time limit is intended to enable all those waiting for their turn to access the offer as quickly as possible. The time permitted will be sufficient to complete the transaction.
  • Can I buy more than one Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the Annual Québec National Parks Card at a time? Up to how many?
    • Yes, it will be possible to buy four (4) cards when bookings open.
  • Does the purchase of a Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the Annual Québec National Parks Card guarantee access to all parks at all times?
    • Generally speaking, yes. The limit imposed on the number of visitors to a national park - particularly in times of COVID-19 - takes into account the estimated number of visits that will be made by holders of an annual card. However, it is possible that on a particular day, the number of visitors may be so high that access to the national park or to certain sectors of it must be closed, even to annual card holders. The safety of visitors and employees, as well as the responsibility to protect the natural environment, will be given priority in cases where the capacity of a national park is reached. Sépaq recommends that annual card holders arrive early and avoid coming during peak hours (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
  • What does this annual card give me access to?
    • It gives you unlimited access, for 12 months, to Sépaq-managed Quebec national parks as well as daily access to Camping des Voltigeurs, Centre touristique du Lac-Kénogami, and Centre touristique du Lac-Simon. It also offers other advantages: a 25% discount on daily parking fees for supervised beaches at Oka, Mont-Orford, and Yamaska national parks; a 15% discount on daily access for an adult at Aquarium du Québec; a 15% discount on access to Astrolab; a 15% discount on cross-country skiing day passes; a 15% discount at Sépaq shops; and daily access to the natural history exhibitions of Parc national de Miguasha.

Note that the free night's camping at a Sépaq destination as well as the day pass for one person to visit a national park for a friend are not offered as exclusive benefits with the purchase of a Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the Annual Québec National Parks Card.
  • Can I get a refund for a booking I have already made?
    • Yes, access fees already paid for stays scheduled to take place after the activation of the new Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the Annual Québec National Parks Card may be refunded.
  • Does the Annual National Parks Card also provide access to wildlife reserves and other Sépaq attractions, such as Aquarium du Québec and Parc de la Chute-Montmorency?
    • Wildlife reserves do not charge an entry fee. The Annual Québec National Parks Card is not valid at the following establishments: Parc de la Chute-Montmorency, Aquarium du Québec, Station touristique Duchesnay, and Auberge de montagne des Chic-Chocs. It does, however, give you single-day access to Camping des Voltigeurs, Centre touristique du Lac-Kénogami, and Centre touristique du Lac-Simon.
  • Do the benefits of the regular card also apply to the Bonjour Québec 2021 edition?
    • No, because it is not the same product as the Annual Québec National Parks Card. The Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the annual card has these advantages: a 25% discount on daily parking fees for supervised beaches at Oka, Mont-Orford, and Yamaska national parks; a 15% discount on daily access for an adult at Aquarium du Québec; a 15% discount on access to Astrolab; a 15% discount on cross-country skiing day passes; a 15% discount at Sépaq shops; and daily access to Camping des Voltigeurs, Centre touristique du Lac-Kénogami, Centre touristique du Lac-Simon, and to the natural history exhibitions of Parc national de Miguasha.

Note that the free night's camping at a Sépaq destination as well as the day pass for one person to visit a national park for a friend are not offered as exclusive benefits with the purchase of a Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the Annual Québec National Parks Card.
  • Why is the sale exclusively online?
    • Online sales help to avoid a major bottleneck at the Customer Relations Centre, where staff are already stretched thin with summer bookings. The virtual waiting room promotes an efficient and fair process that works well for the launch of very popular products. The Bonjour Québec 2021 editions of the Annual Québec National Parks Card are not sold in the establishment to avoid encouraging visitors to enter the buildings during COVID-19.
  • Why do I need an email address to make a transaction?
    • Since the Annual Québec National Parks Card - Bonjour Québec 2021 Edition will only be sent to you by email, you must have a valid email address to make a transaction.
  • If I don't have access to a printer or a smart phone, how can I show my annual card?
  • What is the period of validity of the Bonjour Québec 2021 edition of the Annual Québec National Parks Card?
    • The validity of the special edition of the card is 12 months after its activation date.
  • Is there a family rate or for children?
    • Access to the national parks is free for all children of 17 and under.
  • Why is there an entry fee for Québec national parks?
    • The entry fee is 100% re-invested in national parks. Every dollar raised by entry fees make it possible to preserve these exceptional protected territories, so you can discover their treasures and share our passions. This way, every time you visit, you're investing in the future of national parks and in the preservation of this collective heritage. Paying the fee provides access to a registration centre, hiking and biking trails during summer, groomed and marked snowshoeing and backcountry skiing trails during winter, and discovery activities all year long. And don't forget that access to national parks is free of charge for all youngsters 17 and under. Purchasing an Annual National Parks Card or an Annual Park Card is an advantageous way to pay your access fees if you often go to national parks. It also includes a good many perks!
