Parc marindu Saguenay–Saint‑Laurent

Discovery Activities

Let Us Guide You...

Participate in the park’s discovery activities. Let a park warden share his or her passion for the territory and the nature it protects.

Even though the marine park is composed of water, you can appreciate its wonders without leaving the shore. Several discovery centres explore themes about the marine park, each in their own way.

Visit the discovery sites grouped together in the park’s Discovery Network.

Check out the Visitor Guide for information about the wide range of activities available.

... or Go at Your Own Pace

Are you more independent? No problem! Explore Parc marin du Saguenay–Saint-Laurent on your own and soak up the spirit of the area.

A wide range of sites and activities respecting the integrity of the environment give visitors access, under ideal conditions, to this beautiful scenery and its many natural and cultural treasures. These enhancement and outreach actions are closely tied to the park’s conservation and research activities. Several are offered by partner organizations.

Besides cruises, boating, sea kayaking and scuba diving, many other types of activities give visitors a chance to appreciate the marine environment and the treasures it holds and protects, such as observation from the shore, hiking and fishing.

Did you know?

This summer choose to be a PROUD MEMBER of the Eco-Whale Alliance for your marine park sea cruise

Engaged in their essential role as guardians of whales and ambassadors for educating visitors concerning the fragility of the marine environment, member companies collaborate with the marine park and the Group for Research and Education on Marine Mammals (GREMM) to offer high-quality sea cruises, based on the respect and protection of whales. In addition to contributing each year to the Eco-Whale Fund (administered by the Fondation de la Faune du Québec) with the goal of providing financial support for scientific research on whales , Alliance members have developed tools to promote best practices in navigation, improve the quality of interpretation on board their boats, and offer you a distinctive and rewarding experience. Since 2015, a catalog of the great whales in the Saguenay-Saint-Laurent is on sale in the shops of Alliance members. All proceeds go to the Eco-Whale Fund.

Give them your support and do your part to protect the whales. Look for the Eco-Whale Alliance’s PROUD MEMBER logo when planning your next cruise. For more information, check out the following site: http://www.eco-baleine.ca/e_index.html
