The Environmental Indicators Monitoring Program at Parc national de Frontena
Since 2004, the Environmental Indicators Monitoring Program (EIMP) (see also the summary, in French only) has been implemented at Parc national de Frontenac. A total of 24 indicators are monitored. Among them are the index of the bacteriological and physico-chemical water quality of Grand lac Saint-François, a body of water in the middle of the park; monitoring the road of anurans, a group representative of the condition of wetlands; monitoring the Bald Eagle, a special status bird that nests in the park.

After 10 years of field research, we are proud to present the first report on the evolution of the ecological integrity for Quebec’s National Parks. Access the entire findings of more than 370 surveys carried out through the Environmental Indicators Monitoring Program.
