Here is a complete description of the infrastructures and services available for people with reduced mobility.
At any time, you can contact the Parc national de Frontenac team at 418-486-2300, extension 6060, to obtain more details for planning your stay.
Since 2005, Parc national de Frontenac has offered a cabin adapted for people with reduced mobility, namely Labbé cabin located at Lac à la Barbue (Southern sector). The following elements allow for universal accessibility: adapted counters and table, access ramp, grab bars in the bathroom, and larger doors.
Washroom facilities have been built to allow partial access.
These two sets of equipment are loaned free of charge to customers with reduced mobility. No booking ahead (first come, first served):
Le Littoral multi-purpose trail (stone dust surface) runs along a segment of the shores of Grand lac St-François and criss-crosses a majestic woodland.
A walkway between the parking lot and the beach allows everyone to enjoy a breathtaking view of Grand lac St-François and to easily access the water. In addition, the supervised beach at Pointe Saint-Daniel will be easily accessible by wheelchair thanks to the beach mat (new as of July 2023).
