Fishing for adventurers
A few suggestions for experienced anglers:
- Bring your ATV for a stay in Joncas sector of Réserve faunique La Vérendrye to make the most of the fishing in the wildlife reserve. You'll find walleye, pike, and lake trout in large numbers.
- For explorers, Lac-Brulé sector of Réserve faunique des Laurentides promises peace and quiet and great catches too. Portages will provide access to the sector's little-fished lakes, where native brook trout abound.
- Multi-species fishing enthusiasts will be delighted at Legendre sector of Réserve faunique Rouge-Matawin. Pike, yellow perch, and speckled trout can all be caught during the same stay.
