Reservation Terms and Conditions

Reservation Period

In the interest of fairness and accessibility for everyone, no reservations may be made at service points at the establishments on the day reservations begin.

Terms of Payment

(Valid for bookings made until November 12, 2021)

Upon reservation, you must pay the total cost of the stay.

MINIMUM DEPOSIT DUE AT BOOKING

(Valid for bookings made as of November 13, 2021)

More than 7 months before the stay begins A deposit of 10% of the total cost of the reservation is due at booking. A second payment of 20% must be paid 7 months before the stay begins. The balance is payable 30 days before the stay begins. The payments are automatically charged to the credit card used for the reservation.
Between 7 months and 31 days before the stay begins A deposit of 30% of the total cost of the reservation must be paid at the time of reservation. The balance is payable 30 days before the stay begins and it is automatically charged to the credit card used for the reservation.
30 or fewer days before the stay begins All reservations made 30 or fewer days before the stay begins must be paid in full.

When the payment deadline is not respected or a payment is not honoured by a credit card company, the reservation will automatically be cancelled without further notice. Certain administration charges may apply.

Payments for online reservations must be made with Visa, Master Card or American Express credit cards. For information about payment for telephone reservations, please contact our agents at 1 800 665-6527.

Payment Plan

If you reserve a stay at least 90 days in advance and the total is $500 or more, you're eligible for Sépaq's interest-free payment plan. Certain conditions apply. Contact our agents at 1 800 665-6527.

Number of People per Ready-to-Camp site

A traditional ready-to-camp site can accommodate up to 6 people (4 adults maximum).

A Étoileready-to-camp site can accommodate up to 6 people.

Number of Ready-to-Camp Site Per Reservation

Number of vehicles per Ready-to-Camp site

A parking space for one vehicle is included on the campsite without other charge. Extra vehicles must be parked in designated areas (fees may apply).

Number of nights per reservation

Minimum of 2 nights at all times.

Modifying or cancelling a Reservation

For any modification or a cancellation of a reservation, please contact Sépaq's Sales and Reservations Office by phone at 1 800 665-6527. An agent will be happy to help you, according to applicable terms.

If you booked online, you can also change or cancel your reservation by logging into your online account.

Modification
Modifications are accepted for the current season.
Cancellation
Up to 5 days before the beginning of the stay
  • Downward modifications: $7 per reservation
  • Equal or upward modifications: no charge
  • Full refund minus a cancellation fee: $7 per reservation

4 days or less before the beginning of the stay and the day of arrival

On the day of arrival, modification and cancellation requests must be made before the start time of the stay: 5 p.m.

  • Only one modification of the reservation is allowed.
  • Changing a booking at equal value or at a lower price: 50% of the difference, minimum $14 per booking
  • No refunds under any circumstances.

Entry Fees in the National Parks

National parks customers must pay the applicable daily entry fee or hold an Annual Québec National Parks Card.

Regulations

Arrival, Extensions and Departure

Arrival: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Access to the campsites may be restricted after this time. Sépaq does not guarantee the availability of equipment before 5 p.m.

Departure: 12 p.m.

Starting at 5 p.m. each day, campsites will be re-rented by the night if customers who have not arrived within 24 hours of the expected dates do not notify the Sales and Reservations Office.

Reserving a campsite does not give you priority for prolonging your stay beyond the number of nights you have paid for.

Noise and curfews

Because people visit our destinations to relax or enjoy nature, you must preserve a sonic environment that is acceptable for everyone. Respect the curfews and keep noise to a minimum at all times.

Additional equipment

No additional equipment (tent or recreational vehicle) is permitted on a ready-to-camp site.

Pets

Please note that under certain conditions, your dog could be allowed in some establishments. However, no other domestic animals are allowed. Please consult our Domestic animals section for details.

Your Safety; your responsibility

Outdoor activities can involve certain risks, so always be sure to have the skills and abilities required for the activity you choose. Your abilities must not be impaired by alcohol, a drug or medication. It is very important to find out about the risks involved in the activity, to know and respect your own limits and to use appropriate equipment. We suggest that you visit our section Security.

Smoke-Free Environment

Tobacco and cannabis regulation acts, as well as Sépaq’s policies prohibit in particular all persons from smoking inside rooms, accomodation units (cabins, rustic shelters, yurt, ready-to-camp, etc.), public areas (meeting rooms, restaurant, bar, reception area, etc.). Out of respect for the air quality, a charge of $200 will be charged for all offenders who smoke in these areas.

Sépaq Satisfaction Guaranteed Program

Customers without Reservations

If customers are dissatisfied with their accomodations upon arrival and request a refund within thirty minutes of registration, Sépaq will refund the total price of the accomodation rental.

Customers with Reservations

For customers with reservations, Sépaq will do its best to offer them other accomodations, subject to availability.

Closures or prohibition of activities

In the interest of safety and prevention, Sépaq reserves the right to prohibit the practice of activities normally offered or traffic in an establishment or sector thereof, when it deems it necessary or if there are risks to the safety of persons. Only the cancelled activity can be refunded or compensated.

Access to information law

By virtue of the Access to Information Law, Sépaq personnel may not transmit any information about clientele (e.g. name, site number, etc.).

Important Message

Anyone who breaks these rules may be expelled immediately without a refund.
