Conditions of use of rights-of-way

Mékinac bridge

The cardholder is entirely responsible for all use and for compliance with the terms and conditions of use of a card or a booklet.

Non-automatic postal mailing and delivery times

The annual pass or 12-crossing booklet should be delivered within 10 business days when purchased online or by phone. You must submit your request at the Réserve faunique du Saint-Maurice.

Validity

Prepaid season pass

The prepaid season pass is valid for 70, 150 or 300 crossings, as the case may be. The pass is valid between May and November of the year of purchase, without exception, regardless of when the pass is acquired. At the end of the season, the pass becomes invalid and unused crossings, if applicable, are forfeited.

12-crossing (return trip) booklet and daily right-of-way

The 12-crossing booklet and the daily right-of-way are valid for an indefinite period.

Use

Prepaid season pass and 12-crossing (return trip) booklet 

The pass or booklet must be presented to the reader at the payment terminal each time you use it. One round-trip crossing is debited from the pass or booklet each time it is used.

Daily right-of-way

The daily right-of-way is valid for one round-trip crossing of the Mekinac Bridge. When the round-trip crossing is completed, the bar code indicated on the ticket presented to the payment-terminal reader is automatically deactivated.

Temporary exit

For holders of an individually purchased round-trip crossings, a prepaid season pass, or a booklet of 12 crossings, double crossings (exit and re-entry to the territory) are free of charge for temporary exits (return crossings) of two hours or less debited on the same card or booklet.

Restrictions

The prepaid season pass and the 12-crossing booklet are only valid for certain types of vehicles. Please refer to Sépaq's website for details. Drivers of other vehicles cannot purchase a prepaid season pass or a booklet and must pay the daily transit fee.

The prepaid season pass and the 12-crossing booklet are not refundable, editable, or convertible into cash. They remain the property of Sépaq.

The daily right-of-way is refundable at any time.

Loss, theft, or damage

Sépaq is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of a prepaid seasonal pass or a 12-crossing booklet. In either of these situations, a fee of $3.00 (plus taxes) will be charged for the replacement of a pass or booklet, which will take into consideration the crossings used. No replacement can be made through Sépaq's website or by telephone.

In the event that a user does not have the pass or booklet on hand for any reason whatsoever, the daily transit fee must be paid.

In the case of a daily right-of-way, in either of these situations, the customer will have to pay the right-of-way again.

For a lost, damaged, or stolen pass or booklet, please go to the registration office of Réserve faunique du Saint-Maurice.
