What could be better than enjoying dusk beside a beaver pond and watching them get started on their nocturnal activities? Learn to recognize signs of moose in the forest and discover the discreet activities of molluscs in Lac Saint-Jean.

Discovery and Visitors Centre

The starting point for many activities, the Discovery and Visitors Centre houses an exhibition that paints a general portrait of the park’s natural and historic riches.

Discovery Stops

Along the cycling path, discovery stops present the lives of the moose and beaver of Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon. The Tourbière lookout, 1.5 km from the cycling path, offers a panoramic view of this special habitat.

Pointe-Taillon is made up of a variety of wetlands. Explore the cycling path that goes around the peninsula and see all the ponds. These small bodies of water have evolved greatly over time. Along a 4-km circuit, a park warden-naturalist will guide you and help you discover the mysteries of these continually changing habitats.
