Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno is located at 330, rang des 25 Est, in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. To get there, take exit 80 off Highway 30 and exit 98 and 102 Highway 20.

Access and Operating Period

The park is open year-round, from 8 a.m. to sunset. Note that the closing time of the gate at the park entrance varies according to the season:

  • November 1 to 30, 2024: 4:30 p.m.
  • December 1 to 31, 2024: 4 p.m.
  • January 1 to 31, 2025: 4:30 p.m. (except during night skiing, at 9 p.m.)
  • February 1 to March 8, 2025: 5:30 p.m. (except during night skiing at 9:00 p.m.)
  • March 9 to 31, 2025: 7 p.m. (except during night skiing at 9:00 p.m.)
  • April 1 to 30, 2025: 8 p.m.
  • May 1 to July 31, 2025: 8:30 p.m.
  • August 1 to September 8, 2025: 8 p.m.
  • September 9 to 30, 2025: 7 p.m.
  • October 1 to 31, 2025: 6 p.m.
  • November 1 to 30, 2025: 4:30 p.m.

Discovery and Visitors Centre

Reception and information, Boutique Nature, equipment rental shop for cross-country skiing, washroom facilities and nearby parking.

The waxing room as well as the fatbikes and snowshoes rental are located in the trailers in front of the Discovery and Visitors Centre.

Universal Access

The Vieux-Moulin, the Discovery and Visitors Centre, the washrooms and the picnic areas offer access to the mobility-impaired.


Services

Boutique Nature

Inside the Discovery and Visitors Centre, the Boutique Nature store offers a vast array of souvenirs, clothing for adults and children, discovery products for young people and outdoor items.

Equipment Rental

Winter

An equipment rental shop* for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fatbike is located inside the Discovery and Visitors Centre (reservation is mandatory). For equipment rental, you can make a reservation by phone (1‑800-665-6527) or directly on site (subject to availability). 

Periods:

  • December 15, 2024 to March 31, 2025 (depending on snow conditions)
    • every day, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Summer

During the summer period, we must instead go to lac des Bouleaux to rent a watercraft (stand up paddle and canoe). Please note that this site is located 35 minutes walk from the Discovery and Visitors Centre.

Equipment rental is offered on site (subject to availability) or by phone at  450-928-5088, option 1.

Children under five years of age are not allowed in rental watercrafts. The minimum age to be alone in a watercraft is 16 years old for canoes and 8 years old for stand-up paddles for paddleboards (accompanied by a person aged 18 or over on another paddleboard). Children of 15 years old and over may be alone on a paddleboard (unaccompanied).

    • Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last rental at 3:45 p.m.)
  • June 25 to August 18, 2024
    • every day, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last rental at 4 p.m.)
  • August 19 to September 2, 2024
    • Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last rental at 3:45 p.m.)

Children may be denied access to watercraft if they are not big enough to don a flotation jacket. These jackets are normally suitable for children aged five years and older.

Cross-Country Ski School

The park's cross-country ski school offers group lessons and private and semi-private lessons. The monitors will help you learn or improve your cross-country skiing techniques in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The cross-country ski school is managed by Club de ski Montériski.

Food Services

Le Vieux Moulin tea room

Located in the heart of the park and proud of its 300 years of history, Le Vieux Moulin tea room offers a selection of teas specialty coffees, pastries and smoothies, all in a warm atmosphere.

  • Year-round: Open on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and during March break, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bus: Summer shuttles of the RTL, departing from the Longueuil - Université de Sherbrooke Metro station.

Pets

Since May 17, 2019, dogs are allowed. However, they are only allowed in certain areas. Check out the applicable rules and authorized sites.

Guide dogs and service dogs are allowed everywhere. Other pets are still prohibited in national parks.
