The webcam presents the entire sweep of sky above Mont-Mégantic, both day and night. The clouds and sun are visible during daytime, while the stars and constellations, the moon and the planets can be checked out at night. So the webcam shares the skyscape at the heart of the world’s very first International Dark Sky Reserve. The camera is set up on the site of the people’s observatory, seen in the images here. If you’re lucky, you may even see some shooting stars!
