Groups can choose between an evening at the Popular Observatory or at ASTROLab. However, when weather conditions do not allow for a safe climb to the Observatory, the astronomy evening is held at ASTROLab.
At the base of the mountain, Astronomy Night at ASTROLab is divided into two parts. Before the stars come out, the evening starts in the comfort of the multimedia room with a special guided presentation on celestial movements and the phenomenon of light pollution. The giant high-definition screen fills your eyes with wonder! In the second part, the evening continues outside with star gazing. Thanks to our telescopes, you can contemplate the splendors of the Universe under one of the most beautiful starry skies in Québec. If it’s overcast, the evening will continue indoors with content rich in images and interactivity. A short night hike is also possible. Rain or shine, you’ll have stars in your eyes!
Bring warm clothing to enjoy the show! Duration: 2 ½ h. Capacity: 90 people.
