QUEBEC NATIONAL PARKS DAY
Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno
The great autumn migration: focus on birds of prey
With its mature forests and five natural lakes, the park offers quality habitats for birdlife. More than a dozen species of birds of prey are spotted here at one time or another during the year. Fall is an ideal time to observe birds during their migration. On these thematic days, we’ll discuss, among other things, the distinction between hawks, falcons, and sparrowhawks based on their silhouette and in-flight behaviour.
