L'Acropole with guide

In the company of a park warden and naturalist, you’ll explore Acropole des Draveurs trail, which takes you through a forest world to the first peak, where you’ll be immersed in an alpine environment featuring remarkable flora and breathtaking scenery.

  • Meeting place: Félix-Antoine-Savard Visitors Centre
  • Time: 9:00 a.m.
  • IMPORTANT: Acropole-des-Draveurs is a difficult trail. This activity is for hikers who are used to walking in the mountains (12 years of age and older). Conditions for access to the trail

Old Man of the Mountain

Meet our very own Old Man of the Mountain! A park warden and naturalist will be on hand at Summit 3, at the very end of Acropole-des-Draveurs trail, to discuss conservation issues in our national park and answer your questions.

  • Meeting place: Summit 3, Acropole-des-Draveurs trail
  • Time: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Tightly woven forests

Our forests feature a variety of fascinating interactions that you’ll have the chance to discover on this guided off-trail hike. The hike is actually part on-trail and part off-trail and covers a distance of approximately 5.5 km. Participants must have hiking shoes and clothing for both on- and off- trail hiking, appropriate for the weather conditions. Bring enough water to meet your needs.

  • Meeting place: Des Érables bridge located at km 2 (near the entrance of Des Érables trail)
  • Time: 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Intermediate level trail. Reserved for adults and families with children 8 years of age and older.
  • Reservation required at 418-439-1227.

In a playful way, you’ll learn more about the species found on the high peaks of the national park, as well as the conservation issues of the day.

  • Meeting place: near Le Draveur Visitors Centre
  • Time: between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
