Parc national de Frontenac straddles the Cantons-de-l'Est and Chaudière-Appalaches tourism regions. Its 3 sectors are spread over nearly 30 km around Grand Lac Saint-François.

This sector is located halfway between the Southern and Saint-Daniel sectors. To access it, follow the directions to Parc national de Frontenac (Sainte-Praxède sector).
Level 2 charging stations are available at the following locations during operation periods: Southern Discovery and Visitors Centre parking lot (2) and Saint-Daniel Visitors Centre parking lot (2). Details
Please note that navigation and water sports activities on Grand lac Saint-François are made risky due to high winds and the presence of motorized watercraft. Parc national de Frontenac cannot be held responsible for the presence of other users on Grand lac Saint-François.
Roads within the park leading to activities and services are made of gravel. There is no single road linking the various sectors of the park. No water shuttle service is available. You must use provincial highways to get from one sector to another.
The park is accessible year-round, but no on-site services are available during the fall and winter months, when you are totally on your own and responsible for your own safety. Outside the regular season, traffic restrictions apply at the entrances to park sectors. Hikers with a valid permit can access the trail network from the following parking lots:

Located at 2 km from the sector entrance. Services: reception and information, payment of entry fee, camper registration, boutique, mini-convenience store, provincial fishing licence and nautical equipment rental

When the Saint-Daniel Visitors Centre and the registration post are closed, customers must pay their entry fee (cash only) using the self-payment terminal or by purchasing their daily access online.

Southern Discovery and Visitors Centre
Located at 800 m from the sector entrance. Services: reception and information, payment of entry fee, camper, canoer/camper, and cabin user registration, provincial fishing licence, boat rental, boutique and mini-convenience store

Please note that the last rental must be made at least 75 minutes before the closing of the rental centre.

They provide enough calories to meet the nutritional needs of fans of the great outdoors and the portions are very generous.
