Porcupines and Fishers

Once very abundant, with a population of 40 porcupines per km2, in some parts of the park the population is now much lower. The arrival of a fearsome predator, the fisher, partially explains the decline. During your visit to the park, be attentive. You might have a chance to see one of these magnificent creatures.
