Children: Free for children under 18 subject to certain conditions.

All rates are per day/person depending on the capacity and type of accommodations.

Weekend rates applicable on Sundays, May 18, June 22 and 29, and August 31 2025.

A minimum of 3 nights is required for a stay that includes one of the following Fridays or Saturdays:

• May 16 and 17, June 20, 21, 27 and 28, August 29 and 30, 2025

Taxes not included.

Number of cabins per reservation

• Maximum of 3 cabins or rustic shelters
• Same dates
• Same sector

One reservation per call or transaction during the reservation launch. After this period, there will be no limit to the number of reservations.

The cost of your trip depends a lot on its timing

High season

During spring and early summer, the water is colder. The fish stay closer to the surface of the water. So the fishing is excellent! Anglers snap up the dates during this period. It’s a busy season! So you’ll have to book a bit more in advance.

Low season

In the middle of summer, because the water is warmer, fish tend to lurk at the bottom of lakes. Then they become a little more unpredictable. However, rates during this period are also more advantageous. This is the ideal season for holidaymakers or to initiate your close friends and family without breaking the bank.

Please note that high-altitude locations don’t have a low season; the water remains cold all year round, so fishing quality doesn’t change.

Weekends

Anglers can easily get groups together for short trips on weekends. So demand for weekend packages is higher and it only makes sense to book further in advance.

Weekdays

Enjoy great rates from Sunday to Thursday. You’ll be able to treat yourself to an extended trip while staying within your budget.

National park or wildlife reserve?

You’ll find 95 percent of our fishing offer at our wildlife reserves. There are beautiful fish – and lots of them! These destinations provide a wilderness experience with the promise of great adventure. With their vast territories and many waterways, they’re the anglers’ favourite choice. However, you have to make sure you’re well equipped for your travels. You may have to drive for several kilometres on gravel roads to get to your lodging sector or waterway.

Fishing is much more relaxed in national parks because motorboat use is restricted. Around five percent of our fishing offer is found there. You can, however, combine fishing with a variety of other activities during your stay. National parks are havens for outdoor enthusiasts. The scenery is breathtaking! You should know that you’ll pay an entry fee for these territories in addition to the cost of fishing packages. By paying your fee, you’ll help protect and promote our natural heritage.

Which fish to catch?

At Sépaq, 12 species of fish share the 13,000 lakes of our network. The brook trout is certainly the number one species. It’s the most popular fish in Québec. You’ll find it everywhere. In second place, we recommend the walleye.

What to put in your baggage?

When you reach your destination, you'll be close to nature … but far from civilization. First and foremost, carefully consult your cabin’s technical sheet (displayed during the booking process or in your purchase confirmation). It indicates the equipment included.

To jog your memory:

• You can print a memory aid that will be useful when you assemble your baggage.
• Bedding is not provided in our cabins. You must bring sheets or a sleeping bag, fitted sheet, pillow cases, towels and dish cloths.
• Access to drinking water varies from one establishment to another. If the water is not drinkable, this will be indicated on your booking confirmation. You will then have to use bottled water.
• Also bring food for the entire length of your stay. A refrigerator and propane stove will be available on site. In some cabins, you’ll also have a BBQ.
• You must bring an outboard motor or rent one in advance if you’re staying in a wildlife reserve. Please note that super light 2.5 hp electric or gasoline outboards can be rented throughout the network. They’re ideal for small and medium-sized lakes. We also rent out several more powerful motors.
• Make sure you have a fishing licence as well as proof of navigating competence if you’re considering using a motorboat. If you don’t have a fishing licence, you can purchase one at any of our registration centres. You can also purcase it online.
• During your journey, you’ll probably drive on gravel roads. Think about whether your vehicle is suitable for this type of terrain. An additional precaution: put an extra can of gasoline in the trunk.
• To use your equipment effectively, take the time to review fishing knot techniques. Fear not! Our wardens will be there to help you if there’s a snag.
