Winter stay in a hut
Long-distance winter hiking buffs are very familiar with huts. But less experienced fledgling hikers looking for good snow conditions will also appreciate these overnight shelters that are located near the trails. What to expect? A very simple stopover, without electricity or TV! It’s also where you'll meet other like-minded outdoor enthusiasts because our huts are communal.
- Spots in a hut
- Huts are equipped with beds, a table, and a wood stove. Dry toilets are located outside. The equipment provided may vary from one hut to another and according to the season.
- Access to winter trails
Depending on the type of equipment you will be using to get to a hut (backcountry skiing or snowshoeing), circuits are suggested in certain destinations and can last one or more nights.
You book one or more spots to sleep, and depending on the capacity of the hut, other people may join you. During the day, hikers frequently pop in for a break.
Book by phone at 1‑800‑665‑6527.
From $2975 /adult/night
Taxes not included. National park entry fees not included.
Depending on the destination chosen, baggage and shuttle services may be offered. See the hut information chart for details.
For the Mont Albert huts (Parc national de la Gaspésie), a lunch box service is offered by the restaurant of the Gîte (according to the opening hours of the Gîte's restaurant)..
Departure and arrival times
The hut is available from 4 p.m. until 9 a.m. the next day. The departure time must be respected so that the maintenance teams can disinfect the hut. Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., the huts can be used as a relay for daytime clients.
Information about your registration upon arrival also appears in your reservation confirmation.
Out of respect for others sharing a building and for the tranquility of the premises, hikers staying overnight in a hut, tent cabin or lean-to must arrive no later than the establishment’s maximum arrival deadline. They must therefore plan their travelling and equipment installation time accordingly.
