Accessible and rewarding activities

This is where the fish are biting! Réserve faunique des Laurentides is known for the exceptionally high quality of its fishing. During the whole season, you can go fishing for book trout here. Guaranteed fun for the whole family! In fact, the wildlife reserve introduces close to 500 youngsters to fishing each and every year, in conjunction with the Fondation de faune du Québec and the Fondation de la sauvegarde de la truite mouchetée. So the place is ready and able to welcome the smaller fry!

Come fall, you can introduce your youngsters aged 12 and older to hunting traditions. Orange vest-clad and hunting rifle in hand, scour the territory for ruffed grouse, spruce grouse and snowshoe hare. Small game hunting is perfect to initiate youngsters to this activity. Fancy a more imposing beast? Why not head off to hunt some moose?
