Centre touristique du Lac-Simon

Accessible and rewarding activities
A two km-long fine sand shore, pristine water, a lifeguard on duty at the supervised swimming area… this is true summer vacationing with a southern resort feel to it! To get moving and have fun, take advantage of beach volleyball, as well as the new playing area on the beach where you’ll find a trampoline, five toboggans, a climbing rock and other climbing modules, a pirate ship for the two to five year olds and a big top! For our young visitors, those 4 to 12 years old and the 12 to 17 year-old teens, all sorts of organized activities are offered free of charge, including a film projection every evening. A number of activities take place at the beach, so you can come out and have fun, rain or shine under the big top!
On Lac Simon, you can navigate with your family on board a canoe, a sea kayak and test your balance on a stand up paddle boat. You can squeeze in some fishing as well. The Centre also offers a number of hiking trails, including, a stroller accessible two km-long trail toward the town of Duhamel. This is also the biking circuit, which hooks up with municipal bike paths further on.
On Lac de la Ferme, you’ll be able to navigate in peace aboard a canoe or kayak in a magnificent natural setting. Don't forget your fishing line!
Accommodations that the whole family can really enjoy
The famous vast camping area is nestled under a magnificent forest canopy. You have a choice of serviced or semi-serviced campsites. This is also where you can experience the comfort of a ready-to-camp tent or a Compact cabin.
Families can also opt for fully-equipped cabins which can sleep five to six people. You’ll find a playground nearby as well.

In winter, the family is always more than welcome
Young and old alike will have a great time snow tubing and skating near Lac Simon. You are welcome to go ice fishing on Lac de la Ferme as well. Cross-country, skiers can access the trails with their families. Taking your children for a sleigh ride will be a snap on well marked snowshoeing and hiking trails. On the way or often even by your cabin, you should get the chance to do some wildlife watching since a number of white-tailed deer frequent this area in winter. What an impressive sight!
