Location

Camping des Voltigeurs, located in Drummondville, lies midway between Montréal and Québec City. He's about five kilometres from downtown. It's accessible via Montréal and Québec City by Highway 20, exit 181.

Camping des Voltigeurs is open from May 9 to October 26, 2026.

Public Transit

A bus service serves the town of Drummondville. There is no public transit between Drummondville and the campground. A taxi service is available.

It's possible to reach Drummondville by train. The station is located at about 7 minutes from the campground. A taxi service is available.

Visitors

Visitors must register at the Visitors Centre in the middle of the campground. Admission for visitors is $8.75/adult (taxes included) and the access is free of charge for children.

Note

Even though it's not a national park, the Annual Québec National Parks card provide day access to Camping des Voltigeurs.

For better camper services, most of the infrastructures have been renovated and the Visitors Centre, which includes the convenience store, the boutique and all reception services, is now located in the center of the campground.

Centre-du-Québec is renowned for a diversity of cultural activities that cater to all kinds of audiences. Discover this region through museums, interpretation centres, and historic sites. Go to summer theatres and playhouses for entertainment. Visit the Festival de la Poutine de Drummondville in August and the Festival Trad Cajun in fall.

Farm Tourism

Centre-du-Québec is a farming area with much to discover. Visit superb gardens, taste local produce, try the local cheeses. Orchards, vineyards, and farms will also open their doors to you.
