Let us drive you to an altitude of 615 metres in the heart of the mighty Chic-Chocs mountains, where Auberge de montagne des Chic-Chocs awaits you. With only 18 rooms, it’s a perfect and private place for a getaway, but also for fraternizing with the staff and other guests. Friendly service, big windows with a view of the barren peaks, ultra comfortable rooms: everything is designed to help you relax. And the hotel itself is only part of the experience! Outside, your playground covers 60 km2. Through a multitude of guided activities, you’ll have the pleasure of discovering breathtaking views and treasures of the wilderness that will quickly populate your memories.
TRANSPORTATION AND RECEPTION
From Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, where you park your vehicle, a shuttle will drive you to the top of the mountain. This is (already!) an opportunity to admire the magical landscapes of the Chic-Chocs. As soon as you see the hotel, the friendly staff will rush to welcome you. That’s it: you’ve just opened the door to 1,440 minutes of happiness per day!
ACCOMODATIONS
Since the Auberge only has 18 rooms, you can be sure of attentive service: this intimate hotel offers a hassle-free experience, allowing you to get away from it all with total peace of mind. In your room, far from televisions and phones, everything is conducive to comfort and relaxation. Even though the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, its rooms richly deserve their excellent reputation.
MEALS AND SNACKS
In the evening after a drink by the stone fireplace, everyone gathers around big wooden tables like those of old-time family kitchens, where guides set down fresh homemade bread and big platters of food to share. Our guests greatly appreciate this moment, when conversations spark around a healthy and delicious meal featuring fish and game – all in the company of the Auberge team.

Real outdoors addicts, our guides are more familiar with the environment of the Auberge than anyone else, and they share their knowledge with a smile. Generous and available, they watch out for your safety, suggest activities adapted to your needs and abilities, and never fail to share their contagious enthusiasm.
RELAXATION AND ACTIVITIES
Enjoy a short stroll or a long hike, on your own or with a guide, and why not along the International Appalachian Trail? Anything is possible… For skiing, pristine white snowfields, open glades and 300 m altitude differences are calling! No need to bring your equipment: it’s provided by the Auberge. And because getting away from it all sometimes means “doing nothing”, don’t hesitate to relax and enjoy the “3S’s”: sofa, sauna and spa!
UNTAMED WILDERNESS
In the valleys, fir and yellow birch dominate the forest, and alpine tundra awaits you on the high peaks. Here, every step you take is a change of scenery. Keep your eyes peeled: you’re in moose country…Despite its size, it moves like a phantom in velvet slippers.
