Réserve faunique de Port-Daniel has 25 lakes, some ten of which have been set aside for day-fishing enthusiasts and the remainder for anglers who stay in the accommodations offered by the wildlife reserve.
Period: From May 30 to September 1, 2008
The salmon fishing season in Réserve faunique de Port-Daniel comes late. It extends from August 1st to September 30th. The catch limit is two first-sea-winter salmon (grilse) less than 63 cm in length. Four licences per day are available.
New in 2008 :
It is now possible to reserve your day fishing activity 4 months in advance. For example, if you want to fish on June 24, you should reserve on February 24. Online reservations

Hunting
Moose Hunting
Period: From September 2 to 24, 2008
Quota-based moose hunting helps to ensure the sound management of this wildlife resource. It is estimated that the moose herd living on the territory of Réserve faunique de Port-Daniel has increased these last years. In 2008, 8 groups of hunters will be able to hunt moose. These same groups can also participate in the random draw for female moose.
White-Tailed Deer Hunting
White-tailed deer hunters have the opportunity to hunt small game at the same time as deer.
Season: From September 26 to September 30, 2008
Small Game Hunting
Enthusiasts can harvest Ruffed Grouse, Spruce Grouse and snowshoe hare.
Small game may be hunted by the day or as part of an accommodation stay.
Season: From October 1 to 12, 2008
Spring Black Bear Hunting
This activity is only offered by the day, and hunters must prepare their sites themselves.
Season: From June 1 to 30, 2008
