Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon

Location

Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon lies on the north shore of Lac Saint-Jean in the Saguenay - Lac-Saint-Jean tourism region.

 

Access and Operating Period

The park is open year-round. When planning your activities, find out when services are available for each sector. To get to the supervised beach in the Taillon sector, take Route 169.

Taillon Sector (south)

  • Discovery and Visitors Centre

 Péribonka Sector

  • Village de Péribonka Marina
    Reception and information, entry fee payment and shuttle service between Pointe-Chevrette and Île-Bouliane
    No reservation is necessary to have access to the Pointe-Chevrette and Île-Bouliane campgrounds.

Public Transit

Public transit is available to the town of Alma, 25 km from the Pointe-Taillon sector.

Boutique Nature

Inside our Discovery and Visitors Centre in the Taillon sector, you will find a vast array of souvenirs, clothing for adults and children, discovery products for young people, and outdoor items at the Boutique Nature store.

  • Pedal boat

Food Services

At the Discovery and Visitors Centre, you'll find a snack bar with an indoor dining room and an outdoor terrace with a magnificent view of Lac Saint-Jean. It is open to visitors and users of the supervised beach, the cycling path and the campground.

Shuttle Service

In the Péribonka sector, a shuttle ferry links the municipality of Péribonka and Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon. This ferry gives cyclists, hikers and campers access to the cycling path and the Pointe-Chevrette and Île-Bouliane campgrounds. No reservation required: go directly to the marina.
