Behind the Scenes at Plaisance

Enjoy a wide range of discovery activities that unveil the secrets and beauties of Parc national de Plaisance. Weekends only from April 19 to June 15, 2008 and from September 6 to October 12, 2008, and every day from June 21 to September 1, 2008.

Discovery and Visitors Centre

Discover the park through our permanent exhibition entitled “Au pays des jardins flottants”. You’ll meet the Spirit of the Floating Gardens, who’ll reveal the park’s riches to you and let you in on many of its secrets. The exhibition touches on a number of themes, such as human history, the formation of the territory, and especially its unique plant and animal life. A warm and luxurious atmosphere embellishes a sound track worthy of the bayous. The interactive games, along with the audio and video terminals that are part of the exhibition will please visitors of all ages. This exibit is a must-see before you visit the nature version of the park!
