Equipment rental counter: Rental of equipment for canoeing, kayaking and mini-rafting starts on May 16 and ends on October 19, 2008 (before June 1 and after September 2, 2008, weekends only).

 Boutique Nature
A vast array of souvenirs, clothing for adults and children, discovery products for young people, and outdoor articles is offered at the Boutique Nature. All profits are re-invested in the park to enhance its conservation. By choosing our Parcs Québec collections, you are joining us in the development of Québec's natural and cultural heritage. The boutique also offers educational products, such as puzzles and coloring books.

*Dry suit is obligatory when the temperature is less than 15° degrees Celsius.
Food Services
There is a luncheonette-type restaurant at the Discovery and Visitor Centre that serves paninis, soup, muffins, biscuits and drinks. There is also a convenience store, which carries some practical items.

From June 21 to September 2, 2008, open 7 days a week
Transportation Services
- Shuttle for canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts
- Shuttle free for hikers during weekends in the fall
A free shuttle service is offered every Saturday and Sunday of the fall, depending on the weather. Shuttle departures from the Discovery and Visitors Centre and return trips from Pont Blanc are every 30 minutes. First departure at 9 AM, last departure at 3:30 PM.
- Baggage transportation with winter accommodations (2007-2008)
Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier offers visitors a baggage transportation service. This service must be reserved in advance. Contact the Sales and Reservations Office at
1 800 665-6527. Schedule and rates
Rates vary between $10 and $20 (taxes not included) depending on the destination. Rates are established for one piece of luggage (bag or box) that weighs no more than 15 kg for a one way trip. The return trip is always considered a second transport.
Make sure to wrap your equipment adequately to prevent breakage or loss. Grocery-type plastic or paper bags are not accepted.
